Meet the New Standard for Recording Data.
Build better technology by gathering actionable data during your weapon system’s testing with DSR’s world-class shock hardened data recorders.
Our Family of Data Recorders
MD01H
The MD01H is designed for high-velocity (4,000 fps) testing with up to 90,000 Gs shock environments. With a sampling rate of 75 KHz, this miniature, single-axis recorder is designed to perform in the most severe environments
MD01HS
The MD01HS is our newest data recording system. It’s based on the MD01H system, but designed for ultra-high velocity impacts or thin structures. This device is capable of recording at sample rates of approximately 1.2 MHz
MD03
The MD03 is a general-purpose, 3-channel data recorder that uses three orthogonally mounted accelerometers to collect data. This device is a mainstay within the ballistics community for full-scale, conventional environment, sled track experiments.
MD03HS
The MD03HS system is a lighter variant of the MD03 recorder that is a 16-bit system that samples at 2.1 MHz/ channel and is used by researchers when high sampling rate, higher shock levels, and higher fidelity is required.
Data Recorder Technology Overview
More Data Recorder Solutions
Packaging
Our shock hardened electronics systems and cabling are only as good as the mounting with which they are secured to within the test assembly. We commonly develop/ support our customers with unique and reliable mounting systems that promote accurate data collection during extreme shock testing.
Advanced Initiators
DSR has developed a large variety of miniature initiation systems for laboratory and tactical applications. We’ve designed custom laboratory and tactical shock-hardenened systems that have been successfully developed and field tested by our customers.
MD12
Our MD-12 recorder is meant to capture highly accurate data from a large quantity of sensors for a single test. The 12-channel system can chained together for an unlimited number of channels for an experiment. Typical applications include explosive blast testing, sled-track testing, and arena test environments.
Data Recorder Accessories
Control boxes are used to communicate with the recorders pre and post-test to program and download data from the systems.
The battery modules are a re-useable and non-survivable power source that is used by our data recorders.
The acceleration block allows users to change accelerometers for different tests without additional recorder system with different shock environments.
Our Custom Cable Harness is integral to our data recorders and allows quick access to the data recorded on your devices.
